1970 is Johnnie Walkers 150th
anniversary year and provides a specially festive background for The
Highland Week of International Curling
To celebrate the occasion and in response to the ever increasing demand
from overseas curlers to take part, the competition has been extended
to 40 rinks
With Canada's glamerous and determined ladies rink defending their
1969 title, there will be keen competition from seven other overseas
countries
