In a world of increasingly professional sport, we are~particularly proud that this Highland Week of International Curling continues to uphold the original traditions of the game. Inevitably, there can only be one winner of the Gold Salver, but that will not prevent everyone else from having a Week to remember too. The Week is not known as “the world’s leading bonspiel” for nothing!

Johnnie Walker has been involved with this even from the very start in 1967 and we have enjoyed our association tremendously. Next year, however, we hand over to a new sponsor, safe in the knowledge that the highland Committee will continue to do their good work of the past 12 years.
