It is with very great pleasure that Weatherseal Windows Limited take over the sponsorship of the Highland Week of International Curling in 1980. We know that for the past 13 years this has been the highlight of the Scottish season, and having made so many curling friends since our sponsorship of the 1978 European Championship at Aviemore, we can look forward to maintaining the excellent example set for so long by Johnnie Walker.
Working closely with the enthusiastic Highland Committee and with the superb amenities of the Aviemore Centre to hand, we eagerly await the first name to appear on the Weatherseal Trophy.
Whoever it may he, may we wish every competitor and official a wonderful week. May the stones ne’er be still and the whisky flow for ever. Good luck and good curling!

Why do they make us sweep the steps each morning?

I’m sure there is a hole in the bag!

You just don’t get enough time to sleep at nights!
