CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME
Ceud Mile Failte to the 30th year of The Highland Week of International Curling. The Committee are proud that for thirty years the "Week" has drawn together sister and brother curlers from home and abroad to Aviemore to enjoy the "Roarin Game" and Highland Hospitality in an atmosphere of comradeship and goodwill.
Typifying this spirit and to mark 30 years unbroken attendance Alan Johnston has presented a trophy to be awarded to the winners of the Supplementary Competition. We thank Alan most sincerely for this gesture and look forward to his presence amongst us for many years to come.
I wish to thank once again our sponsors for their continued support and in particular Mr. Don Lawson and his staff of A.M.R. for their co-operation and assistance throughout the year.
My personal thanks to the Committee for their hard work and support and to all taking part, I trust this will be another week of good curling, lasting friendships, happy memories and above all a most enjoyable week.
