CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME
It is my pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to this the 33rd 'Highland Week of International Curling'.
I feel it is a great honor for me to be appointed as Chairperson of this prestigious event, but it is the hard working committee, you the curlers and the generosity of our sponsors that make it the week it is, a week of fun, friendship and keen but friendly curling.

"Sadly, David Dick passed away on 8th February, just 4 weeks prior to this year's Highland Week. David was a popular, well-known and dedicated member of the Committee which he joined in March 1992, but he had also been involved with the Highland Week since its inception in 1967, as part of the Aviemore Centre management team. David will be greatly missed by all who knew him and the huge gathering of curlers and friends who attended his funeral service provided a measure of his popularity".
